A Wonderful Morning in the Club: Art, Music, and Inspiring Conversations 6g3j42
Recently, our like-minded club gathered for a morning filled with music, poetry, and warm conversations. My new painting exhibition, "My Soul Calls for Colors," was introduced, inviting reflection on an inner world full of emotions and energy.
The musical atmosphere was created by the melodies of composer, organist, and choral conductor Juozas Naujalis. Rasa Endriukaitienė, the artistic director of the Domeikava Choir “Versmė,” shared insights about Naujalis's works and legacy. This year marks three important anniversaries for the composer: the 155th anniversary of his birth, the 90th anniversary of his death, and 100 years since the first Lithuanian Song Festival held in 1924. The event was complemented by Rasa's autumn poetry, adding warmth and a personal touch.
Additionally, club shared impressions from the books they had read. One of the most remarkable was "The Art Thief" by Michael Finkel, an intriguing true story of global art theft that provides a deeper understanding of the art world and its secrets.
A heartfelt thank you for the warm gathering, and we eagerly await future opportunities to come together and share the spirit of art.
