"This graphic work was created for Dmitry Turbin's exhibition project 'Sunflowers of Van Gogh.' I live in the North, and sunflowers do not have enough time to ripen here, so it is rare to see a fully ripened sunflower in person. Therefore, I painted from a computer reference. The composition and plot were entirely conceived by me from my imagination. The work was created in the summer at my dacha, when nature was rustling and the leaves were beating against the window panes, as the bird cherry outside had grown quite large. In this work, I wanted to convey the tremor of nature and the joy of existence."
