“The body is poetry, translated into eloquence by the language of dance.” (Vadim Stein)

With (Martha) Graham, American modern dance started building its own history, influencing artists from many different backgrounds and styles. She created a new language to which Stein adds his unmistakable voice; the investigation of the human form punctuated by dynamic poses and a masterful control of light.

His exquisite prints are a rendezvous for the soul in which the viewer is an invited traveler on a journey into an original and obsessive appreciation of beauty.

Vadim Stein is a visual artist, art director, and photographer who takes beautiful pictures of dancers in action. He makes the dancers look elegant.

His beautiful prints of these "floating graces" are a meeting place for the soul. The viewer is invited to him on a journey into an original and obsessive appreciation of beauty.

Vadim Stein was born in Ukraine in 1967. When he worked at the Theater of Plastic Drama from 1985 to 1992, he learned how to make decorative sculptures and how to make graphics. His favorite subject was a dancer. He started taking pictures in the early 1990s, and the dancer quickly became his favorite subject. He has been studying the visual language of dance for a long time, and he has close relationships with many of the most important dance groups and theaters in the world.
