Title: Higher Power

This painting is an explosion of life, bursting with energy, color, and movement! Bold reds, blazing oranges, and vibrant yellows dominate the canvas, each brushstroke pulsating with power and purpose. It’s a visual storm, alive with intensity, inviting you to dive in, to feel, and to discover the force behind it all.

Higher Power isn’t just a painting—it’s a call to action! It’s a reminder that within you lies an unstoppable force. The sweeping, dynamic strokes are all about pushing boundaries, breaking through limits, and creating with ion. Every splash of color, every swirl, every curve pulls you into a world of possibilities.

There’s no neat pattern to follow, no single story to tell. This is energy in motion, pure and unfiltered, just like the potential that lies within us all. The chaos? That’s where the magic happens. That’s where you find your power.

This painting isn’t just a piece of art—it's a spark, a catalyst. It challenges you to own your own strength, to lead with boldness, and to create your own path. It’s about finding that fire inside and letting it burn brightly—fearlessly.

The higher power? It’s not out there. It’s within YOU. Always has been. Always will be.

Full Painted. 5-7 cm for proper framing.

About Sonia J.
I began this artistic journey in November 2024, guided by instinct, curiosity, and an unstoppable desire to create. Just a few months in, receiving official recognition from Akoun—a global authority in the art market since 1985—is more than an honor. It’s energizing. It’s validating. It’s fuel for the fire.

With this valuation, I am now officially listed as a market-valued artist in the Akoun database—a trusted resource used by collectors, galleries, curators, and auction houses worldwide.

📚 My work may also be featured in Akoun’s renowned printed guides, like La Cote des Peintres, and referenced by key art platforms such as Artprice and Drouot.

This isn’t just a number.
It’s a statement.
It says: I’m here. I’m growing. And this is just the beginning.

Higher Power is a full-bodied expression of that growth. A painting alive with motion, saturated with bold, vibrant color, and painted with powerful, deliberate strokes. It’s raw energy on canvas—hand-painted and textured, with a 5 to 7 cm border for clean, gallery-style framing.

When you invest in my work, you’re not only acquiring a unique, powerful piece of art—you’re investing in an artist whose momentum is real and whose value is rising. Over the next 5 to 10 years, this work carries the potential for meaningful growth—both artistic and financial.

But beyond numbers and markets, my mantra remains clear:
Celebrate female empowerment through art.
That’s my purpose. That’s my ion.

To everyone who has ed me—thank you from the depths of my heart. Your belief fuels every canvas.
Let’s keep creating. Keep evolving.
And keep breaking the rules. 🖤🚀

The price of this 133cmX100cm artwork is based on an official AKOUN-certified valuation, proportionally adjusted to reflect its large format. As an emerging artist with over 60 artworks sold, a finalist in Top Selection Berlin 2025, and with an exhibition at ExpoArt Braga (September 2025), my career continues to gain visibility and momentum. This pricing reflects certified market valuation alongside my evolving artistic recognition, offering collectors a distinctive opportunity to invest in an original work with strong future potential.

As a self-taught, emergent artist, my work is a reflection of both my personal and professional journey—an evolution from a trailblazing CEO and Entrepreneur in the tech industry to a liberated creative spirit in the rural mountains of Portugal. My art, deeply rooted in abstraction, celebrates the complexity of transformation, female empowerment, and the profound beauty of life’s transitions. Through vibrant colors, bold compositions, and textured layers, I create a visual language that invites both emotional connection and intellectual exploration.

I view abstract painting as a powerful form of expression, where creativity flows freely and without boundaries. My approach is fluid, constantly evolving, and never bound by a single formula. Much like leadership, which requires the courage to adapt and take risks, my art thrives on unpredictability, allowing the materials and organic forms to speak their own language. The absence of a fixed style mirrors my belief that, just like leadership, art should evolve with the times—embracing new techniques, emotions, and energies to truly capture the complexities of the human experience.

In my work, the dynamic interplay of bold, vibrant colors and textures is a reflection of strength and resilience, particularly the resilience of women navigating challenging environments, whether in the boardroom or in life. I use particularly large canvases and paint on the floor, as the perspective from this angle is entirely different, allowing for a deeper connection to the work. Blue hues, in various shades, dominate my canvas—symbolizing depth, calm, and infinite possibilities. These shades of blue represent both the soothing force of inner strength and the boundless potential that comes from embracing change and uncertainty. The layers of blue, ever-shifting, echo the fluidity of life itself and the unwavering spirit that drives one forward.

I work primarily with cotton and linen, two raw materials that resonate deeply with me as symbols of authenticity, resilience, and vulnerability—qualities that embody female leadership. These materials allow me to explore the tactile, organic nature of life’s transitions. My use of fabric and natural textures reflects the grounding energy of nature, drawing inspiration from my surroundings in the rural mountains of Serra da Estrela. Through these materials, I express the profound depth of emotion and the beauty that emerges when we embrace imperfection and change.

Art, for me, is a powerful tool for transformation and expression. After spending over three decades in the corporate world, I turned to art not as an escape, but as a means of deeper connection, self-expression, and inspiration.
