Robin Vandenabeele is a ionate photographer whose interest in graphic art began at a young age, leading him to create his own visual works. Photography quickly became his medium of choice. Portable, fast and fun, it allowed him to document key moments and projects while giving free rein to his creativity.

Robin learned his craft with film cameras in the early 2000s, devouring roll after roll of film and poring over every photography book and textbook available. This quest for improvement led him to develop advanced skills and explore innovative techniques to create never-before-seen compositions.

Among these, his custom double exposure technique has quickly become his artistic signature. By playing with the light and dark parts of an image and superimposing a rotating version of it directly in the camera, he manages to amplify the visual impact and create abstract and surreal versions of urban and natural landscapes. All this is done at the time of shooting, without any digital retouching, thus offering images with a unique character.

Inspired by the beauty of the world around him, Robin Vandenabeele never ceases to explore the limits of photography to visually reinterpret what amazes him. His ambition is to awaken in the viewer a feeling of surprise and fascination, while maintaining an impeccable aesthetic quality. His works, on the border between reality and dream, invite us to see the world from a new and unexpected angle.
