Paul Lebrun est né en 1953 à Bergues. 

Après le bac et un service militaire, Il reprend des études scientifiques à l’Université de Nice où il côtoie sa future épouse. Mais après 4 ans et 3 certificats de maîtrise, il laisse la physique-chimie pour démarrer sa vie professionnelle comme designer graphiste indépendant. Il travaille tout d’abord comme illustrateur et créatif pour les agences de communication locales. Il développe simultanément sa propre clientèle composée essentiellement d’entreprises hi-tech : La Spirotechnique, Texas Instruments, IBM, Digital, Alcatel, Lucent Technologies, Schneider Electric, Hewlett Packard, Télécom, Marconi, Median, Temex, Nortel Networks, Philips, Bay Networks, Quescom, Axis, Fortinet, Amadeus, Median, IQsim …

Il crée en 2002 avec son épouse et un couple d’amis une société d’édition qui se consacre à l’art du doute et à l’approche critique scientifique de l’information. Assez innovant  il y a plus de 20 ans. Il participera à l’édition de près de 40 titres jusqu’en 2018, date à laquelle il ne se consacre plus qu’à son art.

En 2012 il quitte le monde de l’entreprise, il laisse les rênes à son fils pour se consacrer au dessin artistique, et plus particulièrement aux portraits. Il travaille et perfectionne ses techniques et intègre la Maison des Artiste en 2014. Il propose alors son savoir-faire pendant 8 ans sur les marchés estivaux de la Côte d’azur pour des portraits sur le vif, et sur son site en ligne pour des portraits sur commande. Il réalisera ainsi plus de 1500 portraits en 8 ans.

Il reste maintenant discret sur les marchés et se réserve aux productions en atelier.

Il poste régulièrement ses réalisations sur sa page Facebook qui compte à ce jour plus de 2400 followers.
