Nico&Hervé:
Born from the meeting of two photographer artists, Véronique Durruty and Hervé Gergaud (2018), “Nico&Hervé”, a Crazy and Obsessive Dreamlike Duo, is the unique representative of the D.O.D.O. non-thought.
Véronique Durruty explores the dreamlike journey and questions reality, beauty, and elsewhere. Among his personal exhibitions, his work around the Night exhibited notably on the Gates of the Luxembourg Gardens and at the Rencontres d’Arles, his work in synesthesia - photography and music exhibited among others at the Galerie Lehalle in Paris in 2018, photography and perfume which was exhibited among others at the Musée Dapper and won the Guerlain Prize in 2006. In collective exhibitions, let us mention his presence at the “Café Inn” exhibition at the Mucem in Marseille in 2016-2017. In addition, his work has been the subject of more than 30 books.
Hervé Gergaud is a photographer and was an image retoucher at the Magnum Photos agency for 14 years. His research is driven by a surrealist vision of a world that is sometimes chaotic, sometimes poetic.
He has actively collaborated on exhibitions and books by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Raymond Depardon, Antoine d’Agata, Joseph Koudelka, Martin Parr, Reza. As a photographer, in 2017 he won first prize at the “La 25e heure” festival within the “Planches ” festival in Deauville. His exhibitions include his presence in 2010 at the Contemporary Art Festival in Ajaccio and in 2009 at the “Urbi Urbain” exhibition at the “Les Douches” gallery in Paris.
