Franck Jamain, known by his alias Mister Melody, is a contemporary French artist who has transitioned from a 25-year career as a professional tattoo artist to experimenting with spray paint and stencil techniques. In 2021, he sought an original medium to distinguish his work and found inspiration in an attic discovery: old audio cassettes from his past. This sparked the idea to use the cassettes as his unique canvas, connecting his art to the theme of music.
In 2022, he completed his first two paintings using this concept, and his "pictorial melody" has since grown to include around thirty works, with more in development. Mister Melody continues to explore the fusion of art and music, pushing creative boundaries with this innovative medium.
