Sculptor and Osteopath
Born in 1955
As soon as I arrived in Paris, simultaneously with my medical studies, I took the drawing and painting courses of the City of Paris (ADAC) supervised by André MAIGRET, then alongside Joelle SERVE in 1980 I learned about engraving techniques. and strong waters.
In 1980, wishing to use my knowledge of anatomy and morphology acquired during my studies, I followed the Modeling and Sculpture sessions based on models by Pascal DE BAUTIBAULT at the ADAC workshops.
At the beginning of the 1990s, motivated by a search for expression extended to the three planes of space, I met Sylvie KOECHLIN and under her direction I approached the practice of direct carving and stone in her sculpture workshop in Belleville until 'on his departure for the province.
From 2000 the sculptor Serge CASTERA welcomed me into his workshop on rue Saint-Maur, which allowed me to improve my techniques and my artistic activity.
Since 2018, still in Paris, I have been sculpting in my own workshop "La Loge" not far from Belleville.
"The body is a subject of discussion and entertainment for everyone,
My omnipresent hand placed on it has become for me a subject of expression.
The more I bring life into the stone, the more my relationship with the mineral becomes tactile."
