Dominan los tonos tierra, ocres, beige y marrones, con toques de blanco cremoso que sugieren la luz reflejada en las fachadas. Hay sutiles pinceladas de verde oscuro y azul grisáceo en las ventanas y en el sombreado de las escaleras, que añaden profundidad y contraste.
La composición se centra en una empinada escalera de piedra que asciende hacia el fondo del callejón, invitando al espectador a explorar lo que hay más allá. Las escaleras están bañadas en una mezcla de luz y sombra, creando un juego visual interesante. A ambos lados, edificios altos y estrechos flanquean el paso, con ventanas y balcones en distintas alturas y tamaños, algunos con contraventanas oscuras que añaden un aire de misterio.
Las paredes de los edificios muestran signos de vejez y desgaste, con capas de pintura que se pelan y marcas que cuentan historias silenciosas. La perspectiva se inclina ligeramente, dándole un dinamismo al callejón y acentuando la sensación de ascenso. La luz parece provenir de la parte superior, iluminando selectivamente algunas superficies y dejando otras en penumbra, lo que crea un fuerte contraste y resalta la atmósfera íntima y acogedora del lugar.
En la esquina inferior derecha, se vislumbra la entrada a una puerta oscura, que refuerza la sensación de antigüedad y la vida cotidiana en este tipo de callejuelas. La firma del artista es visible en la parte inferior derecha, lo que le añade un toque personal y autoral a la obra.
