Depuis longtemps je suis en avec le textile puisque native de Lavelanet (09), j'y ai entendu dans tous les coins de rue et dans ma propre famille les métiers à tisser claquer, j'y ai vu les mottes de toutes les couleurs et les draps sortant des ateliers. La matière dans les yeux et la main prête ont fait le reste. A Paris où je m'étais exilée, les ateliers de l'ADAC m'ont accueillie quelques années et puis, sentant que mon chemin était là, je postulais à la Manufacture des Gobelins en 1995. Ce fut une année de bonheur inoubliable dans l'atelier de tapisserie de basse-lice où je rencontrais Daniel Cordeau, un formateur hors pair !

Tout de suite je fis l'acquisition d'un métier à tisser de basse-lice et pendant mes heures de loisirs, il me parlait ! De fil en aiguille, je suivais des cours du soir à l'école Duperré, aux ateliers de dessins/peinture de modèles vivants des beaux-arts de la ville de Paris et  je m'éloignais inexorablement de mon quotidien rémunérateur pour finir par le quitter en 2003. Entretemps, je faisais mes premières expositions de photos, peintures/collages et tapisseries notamment lors des éditions de Lilar't aux Lilas près de Paris où je résidais.

Depuis lors, mes activités sont tournées vers l'art, la tapisserie en particulier mais aussi la peinture et les collages.

J'ai partagé ma ion avec des non voyants, malvoyants et handicapés moteurs, avec des personnes âgées en EHPAD, des écoliers, et avec tous dans le Musée du Textile de Lavelanet, ma ville natale.

Aujourd'hui, il vaut mieux tard que jamais, j'ai ouvert mon atelier au 82, rue maréchal Joffre à Lavelanet dans lequel je propose des ateliers d'initiation pour enfants et adultes et où vous êtes les bienvenus !

Depuis cette année, je fais partie de l'association Sensations Pyrénées Cathares qui regroupe une cinquantaine d'adhérents artisans et artistes.
