Outre son épaisseur exceptionnelle, le papier fibre est composé d'une base d'alpha-cellulose sans acide et il est recouvert de sulfate de baryum, et d'une couche microporeuse améliorant l'absorption des pigments lors de l'impression. Arborant une couleur blanc pur, ne jaunissant pas à la lumière, ce papier est spécialement conçu pour être durable dans le temps. A propos de nos impressions"The Cat's On The Table", this watercolor painting features a jaguar happily stretching out on a table in a stunning living room. I've been reading about jaguar habitats, particularly Pantanal, a large park which is a refuge for these gorgeous wild cats. A visit to Pantanal is on my, "bucket list"! A stature of a pair of Hyacinth macaws sits on a table behind the cat. On the wall hangs a painting of a pair of jaguar cubs in the jungle and under that painting is a statue of a hornbill. Potted orchids, tropical flowers and high ceilings add color and a light, relaxed feeling to this interesting and detailed painting. This artwork is part of my series depicting cherished pets and wildlife coexisting under one roof! It's a powerful reminder that we can live in harmony with nature when we open our hearts and truly see the wonder in every living being. We become part of something bigger, an unbreakable bond that unites us all.

Kristen Olson Stone grew up in a Maryland suburb of Washington, D.C. with a sincere appreciation for art and music. The daughter of two classical musicians, she spent time learning to play piano, violin, viola, and classical guitar. Although she loved music, her real ion has always been that of drawing and painting.
Inspired by her grandmother, also a painter, she attended art school at The University of Maryland and The California Art Institute in Los Angeles. Classically trained, she enjoyed painting people and portraits but her love of nature and wildlife steered her towards a more painterly style of impressionism.
Kristen is an interdisciplinary artist working in oil and watercolor. Her joyful, colorful paintings are very popular with collectors! Her style of oil painting features luxurious, thick strokes of oil paint which give added interest to the artwork. When viewed from a close distance, these oil paintings appear to be a textured mosaic of beautiful strokes of color, like tiny abstract paintings within the larger work. When viewed from a further distance, the lines, colors and shapes come together to magically reveal a particular subject.
