Cette création insiste comme la troisième sur notre inaptitude à comprendre la mort et surtout sur le fait que nous ne l’aimons pas, quelles que soient les latitudes sous lesquelles nous nous situons. C’est la raison pour laquelle, nous la déguisons pour essayer de la rendre plus able. J’en fais de même ici, à la manière des Mexicains dans le but de montrer notre besoin de produire des œuvres de la mort désacralisée, ce qui correspondrait à l’état d’esprit de notre société occidentale. D’autre part, je cherche aussi à montrer que la notion de mort est difficile à expliquer et demeure un mystère pour nous : que se cache derrière le masque de la mort ? Peut-on la penser ou la conceptualiser dès lors que nous n’en savons quasiment rien. « La mort qui ronge son propre concept va alors ronger les autres concepts, saper les points d’appui de l’intellect, renverser les vérités, nihiliser la conscience »
