This work captures Anne Boleyn—interpreted through the likeness of Natalie Dormer in The Tudors—as a symbol of fierce determination and transformative defiance. Painted in my signature fusion of oil and spray paint, the piece contrasts classical technique with contemporary energy, reflecting the tension at the heart of Anne’s story.

Far more than a tragic queen, Anne is portrayed here as a force of nature—intelligent, ambitious, and unyielding. Her unwavering resolve in the face of immense political and personal pressure ultimately led to her death, but also triggered a revolution that forever changed England. She challenged the king, redefined the role of women in power, and became a catalyst for the English Reformation.

In this portrait, Anne is not simply ed—she is reimagined as a figure of enduring strength, someone who dared to speak and act in a world that sought to silence her. Her legacy, like the bold strokes and layered textures of this painting, is both beautiful and uncontainable.

I have been creating art for over ten years, drawing inspiration from the world of cinema, my work combines oil painting and spray paint to create dynamic, emotive pieces that pay tribute to iconic film figures. The technique of oil paint in relief it's the way I infuse my works with dynamic energy and a tangible sense of three-dimensionality. Through this method, the colors literally rise off the canvas, creating a visual experience that is both vibrant and immersive.

I aim to capture the essence of these characters, translating their stories, struggles, and triumphs onto the canvas. Through this fusion of techniques, I bring their larger-than-life presence into the viewer’s world, my hope is that those who encounter my work find inspiration in the lessons, mistakes, and traits of the characters I paint, using them as a guide to shape their own lives.

The characters I portray are bold, rebellious, and unapologetic—much like the quotes I incorporate into my paintings. These quotes aren't just decorative; they reflect my belief in the power of irreverence and honesty. I firmly believe that a bit of audacity, along with my own truth, are crucial in sparking conversation and provoking thought.
