It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Gérard Valluet is a contemporary French artist with a diverse background in both architecture and the fine arts. He began his artistic training at the Lycée Technique des Arts Appliqués à l'Industrie from 1969 to 1972, followed by studying architecture at Unité Pédagogique n° 6, where he graduated in 1979. Gérard then worked in architectural firms and design offices within the building and public works sectors.
His ion for the arts led him to become a free student at the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, studying in Michel Geminiani's painting studio from 1982 to 1984. Throughout his career, Gérard balanced his architectural work with a focus on artistic expression, notably engaging in dotted painting while also running painting workshops for children and teenagers between 1990 and 2008.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Gérard worked in the natural stone export and marble trades, specializing in interior design and decoration. In 2008, he began learning the piano, further expanding his creative interests. In 2015, Gérard returned to his artistic roots, resuming drawing, watercolor, and painting, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his artistic journey.
