Je suis née en 1965 à Montbrison dans la Loire.
Je suis peintre autodidacte.
Le dessin et la peinture ont toujours été importants pour moi, depuis l'enfance je n'ai cessé de pratiquer, tester, chercher, apprendre...
Jeune maman célibataire, j'ai préparé par correspondance un BTS tourisme avec l'envie de voyager, d'aller à la rencontre d'autres peuples, d'autres cultures. L'envie d'allier les deux.
La vie en a décidé autrement et j'ai été représentante, vendeuse, fleuriste, maman au foyer, secrétaire...
Sensible à toutes les formes d'art, je me suis nourrie de lecture, de rencontres et d'échanges artistiques, de visites de galeries et de musées...
Je suis curieuse et toujours, je pratique, je cherche, j'observe, j'esquisse, je teste divers médiums et s, j'apprends, je crée, je m'expose...
La peinture et le dessin me servent d'exutoire.
Je travaille aujourd'hui sur le thème « des visages, des figures ».
J'utilise l'huile et l'acrylique, parfois la mine de plomb, le fusain ou la sanguine mais je teste aussi le collage et les techniques mixtes sur toile, carton, carton entoilé ou s de récupération, ainsi que la peinture murale. Je crée aussi à partir de matériaux glanés et recyclés.
Je travaille essentiellement d'après photos ou esquisses dans le style figuratif (underground).
L'être humain me fascine et parfois m'effraie.
Je l'écoute et l'observe, je le dessine et le peins.
J'essaye de traduire au mieux l'expression des émotions de mon personnage qui découle de l'état d'esprit dans lequel je me trouve au moment du processus de création.
Je cherche en lui l'ombre et la lumière, je le pare de couleurs.
Je peins essentiellement des visages très colorés et m'attache plus particulièrement au regard.
Les yeux sont le miroir des émotions et de l'âme.
Mais parfois le regard dérange, alors donc, je vais le rendre moins visible et travailler sur le cheveu :
« Le cheveu exprime une double symbolique profonde, il est à la fois la racine qui porte nos mémoires et l'antenne qui nous relie au ciel. Si le regard est le miroir de l'âme, le cheveu est « le fil de notre âme ». Il est une projection de l'inconscient individuel et aussi de l'inconscient collectif. »
Je suis influencée par le fauvisme et le travail de la couleur (Van Dongen, Matisse, Derain) ; le Pop-Art (Warhol, Lichtenstein, Haring), couleurs souvent vives et décalées par rapport à la réalité, par les peintures de Frida Kahlo, F. Govare, Titouan Lamazou, les dessins de Bilal et enfin par le street art.
