In the composition by Andriy Solovyov, a talented Ukrainian photographer, the image features a red spoon placed on a chessboard, creating a visually striking and thought-provoking contrast. The combination of the vibrant red color of the spoon against the black and white squares of the chessboard adds a dynamic element to the scene, evoking a sense of creativity and conceptual artistry.

The juxtaposition of the everyday object, such as the spoon, with the intricate patterns of the chessboard introduces a conceptual aspect to the artwork, inviting viewers to contemplate the relationship between objects, colors, and shapes. The composition showcases Solovyov's unique approach to photography, where he skillfully captures the essence of ordinary objects in extraordinary settings, blurring the line between reality and imagination.

Through his work, Solovyov demonstrates his keen eye for detail and his ability to transform mundane scenes into captivating visual narratives. The red spoon on the chessboard symbolizes a convergence of art and everyday life, inviting viewers to reinterpret familiar objects in a new light. This intriguing composition not only showcases Solovyov's technical expertise in photography but also his artistic vision and creative flair.

I am interested in different categories of abstraction, as well as people and nature — my favorite themes. In my earlier work, I used film cameras, but now I prefer digital ones. Recently, I choose digital cameras for their high image detail.

I enjoy showing the extraordinary in the ordinary. Light and shadow create an amazingly elegant, ephemeral beauty in the surrounding world and a subtle simplicity in the image.

In most of my photographs, I shoot documentarily, but the only change in this process occurs when I work on the computer to make the final edits for printing. It is here that I allow myself greater freedom in how the photograph will ultimately look. I enjoy photographing in series.
