"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

In the big canvas of my imagination, I present to you an immersive tale spun with strokes of ebony and ivory — " A Scary Tale." This large painting transcends mere visual storytelling; it plunges into the depths of the supernatural, where a young witch and a devil engage in a dance of allure and enchantment.
At the forefront of the composition stands the young witch, an embodiment of mystery and magical prowess. Her form radiates an otherworldly aura, evoking the belief in magic and the allure of the unknown. Cloaked in monochrome shades, she is a testament to the duality of her existence — caught between the realms of light and shadow.
Beside her, the devil emerges, a sinister yet alluring figure, extending a hand in a gesture of temptation. The large painting captures the delicate moment when the mundane and the mystical collide, blurring the lines between good and evil. The dark artistry at play here weaves a narrative of sorcery, magic, and the age-old dance between light and darkness.
The setting, reminiscent of a household painting from a bygone era, takes on an ethereal quality. It invites viewers into a realm where legends and fairy tales come to life. The young witch, with her magical abilities, and the devil, with his ominous charm, create a tableau that transcends the ordinary, inviting contemplation on the fine line between belief in magic and the fear of the magical unknown.
"A Scary Tale" is more than a fairy tale illustration; it is an exploration of the human psyche, a canvas that resonates with the complex interplay of desires, fears, and the allure of the supernatural. As you gaze upon this dark art, let yourself be drawn into the mysterious depths of a world where the boundaries between reality and fantasy dissolve into a mesmerizing dance of temptation and magic.

Alexandra Jagoda (Ovcharenko) is a contemporary Ukrainian artist born on September 15, 1975, in Ukraine. She has spent half her life in Europe, and since 1999, she has been living and working in Belgium. For Alexandra, painting is a form of meditation, a practice that allows her to lose track of time as she designs and creates new worlds that no one has ever seen before.
Specializing in portraiture, Alexandra finds it fascinating to observe people, visualize their actions and behaviors, and then transform these observations into images on canvas. Her special love is for portraits of women, whom she views as ambiguous and mysterious, filled with a magic that is both alluring and complex. For her, women represent a bottomless world, akin to the rabbit hole Alice fell into in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Through her art, Alexandra explores not just the beauty of women but their inner worlds, which are inhabited by both angels and demons.
Though her primary focus is portraiture, Alexandra also occasionally paints landscapes and flowers. She has exhibited her work in several prestigious venues, including the 2022 Artbox.Projects World 2.0, a collaboration with the Van Gogh Art Gallery in Madrid in 2022, and the International Contemporary Art Fair in Paris in the same year. Her works have also been showcased in group exhibitions at City Hall Applauws in Menen, Flanders, Belgium, in 2021, and at the Cultural Center "De Steiger" in Menen, Flanders, Belgium, in 2020.
