imperfect geometry (2025) Digital Arts by Alessandro Butera
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

On the digital surface, I have arranged blocks of color that, while recalling geometric shapes like squares or rectangles, present irregular edges, apparent textures, and overlaps that break strict perfection. The palette is bold and contrasting: intense reds, a bright and luminous yellow, pure white, neutral grays, and a deep dark tone tending towards burgundy or black. These chromatic and formal elements are juxtaposed and superimposed, creating a sense of depth and a powerful visual dialogue.
The artwork evokes a sense of solid yet living structure, of elements that compose not according to a strict rule, but guided by instinct and material interaction (even if digital). It is an abstract landscape that speaks of construction and deconstruction, of balance found not in perfect symmetry, but in the harmony of imperfect parts.
As a spatialist artist who explores the relationship between form, color, and space, in "imperfect geometry" I wanted to go beyond pure geometry, introducing a controlled element of "disruption" that makes the composition more dynamic, emotional, and, paradoxically, more "real."
I wanted to capture a moment of visual authenticity, a work that conveys strength, contrast, and the beauty inherent in imperfection, inviting the observer to find their own balance within these unconventional forms.
Why This Artwork is Perfect for Your Space:
In Your Living Room: "imperfect geometry" adds a bold and intellectually stimulating focal point to your living room. The powerful use of color and unconventional forms creates a dynamic and contemporary atmosphere, perfect for environments that want to express originality and depth.
In Your Office: This artwork can transform your office into a more creative and personal space. Its energy and its reflection on structure and imperfection can stimulate lateral thinking and communicate an innovative and courageous approach. It is a piece that generates conversation and character.
An Unforgettable Gift Idea:
Are you looking for a gift that stands out for its boldness and originality, one that speaks of contemporary art and conceptual depth? "imperfect geometry" is an excellent choice for someone who appreciates abstraction that challenges conventions and works that carry a strong visual and emotional impact.
